Welcome my name is Amber and I am the creator of Gabies Creations!

Most days you can find me knitting, crocheting, sewing, or creating something in my craft room or kitchen, and always talking about what I have learned!

I married my best friend almost 21 years ago we have a combined total of 5 girls. After our last daughter was born, I told my husband I had always dreamed of having a “craft shop” where people could be encouraged and dabble in their creativity. I could call the shop “Gabies Creations”. Each letter in the name would stand for each of the girls.

As the girls grew up we chose to homeschool and the shop never really happened but I continued to be creative and teach others along the way. Now entering the last 2 years of homeschooling with the youngest daughter is bittersweet. Over the last 5 years, we have also gained 5 grandchildren and a small farm.

Life seems to keep moving on…

So I started to think what if I just got outside my “box” of having a building and connected over the internet? So here we are. Ready to connect and share all of the crafty stuff and encourage one another in life’s journeys.

Throughout life, I have learned to take what I have and make the most of it! During my life’s ups and downs making things for others, our home, and occasionally myself has brought so much joy! Some of my favorite things to create are toys (for kids and adults!) and I love paper crafting and journal making. I am getting a bit better at bread making and dinners with all the fixins like Nan would do it! Ahh… the good old days!
